and my spirit embittered,

The Three Parts of Man
Gen 1:26: Then God said, “Let us make man in our image, in our likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth, and over all the creatures that move along the ground.”
The significance of Genesis 1:26 is important. Just like God is a trinity, so are we. God is The Father, The Son and the Holy Ghost and we are body, mind and spirit.
Body is the physical part of a person.
Mind is considered to be the soul of a person, the heart.
Spirit is a vital principle held to give life to physical organisms.
