Dear Christian

Will trying hard get us into heaven?
There is a lot to be said about trials and tribulations, but we must overcome our  trials. We must understand that the bible does not say blessed are those who try real hard,  but the bible says "blessed are those who overcome" (Revelation 3:7).
Although nothing can separate us from God, we do have the choice of walking away from God through free will.
Only faith in the truth, that Jesus is the Son of God, will make us overcomers (1John5:4-5).
So, no, trying hard will not get us into heaven. We must, therefore, be more than conquerors with our faith in Jesus Christ and not let sin be Master over us.

Dear Christian

The bible is not based on one scripture. I hear some people take one scripture and run with it, like that one scripture is the only scripture in the bible. The whole bible, old and new testament, needs to be read, studied and understood.

Dear Christian

Church is not an industry or a market-based institution, which is what I feel a lot of churches are becoming. I used to be part of a church where the higher you go in leadership positions the more money it cost. I don't mind paying for money to feed the poor, but when it gets to the point of paying for leadership outings, outfits or even monetary funding to support leadership that already gets paid a good amount of money then I feel church becomes an industry. We all know the famous scripture of Matthew 21:12-13 where Jesus drives out all who were buying and selling in the temple. There is a line that was crossed in Jesus's time and is being crossed in churches today. Church should always be a place of worship,  not a place for thievery.

Dear Christian

Don't wait to be perfect to live your life for Christ. Ecclesiastes 3:11 states that God will make everything beautiful in His time and no man can find out the work of God from the beginning to the end.
